MSU Community Music School - Detroit, MI
Though my work at CMS-Detroit is separate from my LLC, I’m proud to share it here! CMS-Detroit, an outreach division of the MSU College of Music, brings high-quality music education to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
They offer private lessons, group classes, and board-certified music therapy. Lessons include guitar, ukulele, and piano, focusing on creativity, confidence, and musical voice. Group classes build rhythm, collaboration, and community, while music therapy supports emotional, cognitive, and social wellbeing.
Since 2009, CMS-Detroit has expanded programs in response to community needs, including youth and adult ensembles, early childhood music, summer camps, and music production classes. Through music, students gain skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
